USEF Offices to Host
Adequan® / USEF Open Reining Championship Draw
           
Lexington, KY - The United States Equestrian Federation will host the draw
for the Adequan® / USEF Open and Youth Reining Championship at its open
house on Friday, August 26, during Fiesta in the Park, the reining event
slated for August 24-28 at the Kentucky Horse Park.
"The entire USEF staff is looking forward to kicking off the reining
championships by hosting the draw at our national headquarters. It is
extremely exciting for the USEF to have these championships right in our own
backyard, the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park," said John Long, USEF Chief
Executive Officer. "Fiesta in the Park, showcasing the best reiners in the
nation alongside premier hunter-jumper riders will be a terrific equine
entertainment event."
 "We think this is a perfect opportunity to showcase these important draws,
and to give the reining participants a chance to see the headquarters of the
USEF," agreed Cheryl Magoteaux, President of Pro Management, Inc., the
organizer of the reining event.
The USEF open house and reception will begin at 11:00 a.m., with the draws
slated to begin at noon in the 35,000 square foot facility that has been
home to the USEF since 1999. More than 86,000 members strong, the USEF is a
non-profit organization that governs competition for 27 breeds and
performance disciplines across the United States. The Federation also
carries the responsibility for selecting, training, equipping and financing
teams of the highest caliber to represent the United States in international
competitions, including the Olympics and Pan American Games and the World
Championships.
